Coconut For Your Skin

We all know that not all creams work for different skin types, but guess what? Coconut works for most (if not all). Quantities and treatments vary depending on different skin types, obviously, but coconut always seems to be the way to go!

There are several benefits to using coconut oil on your skin. First and foremost, it’s NATURAL. No added chemicals. It also prevents dryness and moisturizes the skin and it’s perfect as a makeup remover.

On top of that, if you have oily skin (just like I do!) coconut oil cleans the oil excess and evens the skin tone.

We’ve tried a few scrubs and here is the recipe to one of Be ALAM’s favourites, an eco friendly and zero waste scrub with coconut oil and used ground coffee. It’s very simple!

  1. Keep your morning coffee grounds.
  2. Get some coconut oil (don’t have any around? Check out how to make your own here!)

Mix them up together! It’s all done; it works both on body and face
