Rising seas could menace millions

A new study published in the journal Scientific Reports finds that as sea levels rise, storms and high tides will threaten with floods beyond shorelines.
Researchers have calculated that in 2050, up to 204 million people would face flooding risks, and by 2100, that amount will rise to as many as 253 million people. As well as cause serious economic damage.
